Mary S. Lewis, DAcCHM, M.O.M., L.Ac., known professionally as Dr. Lew, brings together Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM), integrative healthcare, academic mentorship, and culturally responsive wellness education. As a Maryland Licensed Acupuncturist and Florida Registered Out-of-State Telehealth Provider, she approaches healing through individualized care, clinical knowledge, and deep respect for the connection between mind, body, and spirit.

     Dr. Lew earned her Doctor of Acupuncture with a Specialization in Chinese Herbal Medicine (DAcCHM) from Pacific College of Health and Science and currently pursues advanced doctoral studies at the Atlantic Institute of Oriental Medicine (ATOM), with an anticipated graduation in 2027. Her academic background also includes a Master of Oriental Medicine, Bachelor of Health Science, and Associate of Science in Information Technology from Keiser University.

     Beyond clinical practice, Dr. Lew actively contributes to the education of future healthcare practitioners. As a DAOM Student Teacher at ATOM, she collaborates with faculty to support first-year master's students through foundational instruction, clinical demonstrations, individualized guidance, and the practical application of Chinese medicine principles.

     As the owner of Nubian Charm Acupuncture & Wellness, she integrates traditional therapeutic approaches with contemporary clinical reasoning, patient education, and integrative wellness. Her professional background also includes skincare and aesthetic wellness experience dating to 2009, bringing an additional perspective to noninvasive therapies, cosmetic acupuncture, and holistic beauty.

     Her dedication to education and community wellness extends through her leadership as Executive Director of Nubian Charm Enterprises, a nonprofit dedicated to expanding access to wellness education in historically underserved communities. She also developed the Integrative Study Method (ISM), a culturally responsive educational framework designed to support acupuncture students through foundational learning, clinical reasoning, and board examination preparation.

     Central to Dr. Lew's clinical philosophy, Reflexive Healing emphasizes restoring balance, supporting the body's natural regulatory processes, and recognizing the interconnected nature of physical, emotional, and energetic wellness. Through traditional Chinese medicine, thoughtful education, and compassionate guidance, she encourages patients and students to approach wellness with curiosity, confidence, and intention.

     Known for her compassionate presence, engaging teaching style, and signature Southern-belle charm, Dr. Lew brings warmth, cultural reverence, and professional dedication to every aspect of her work. For her, healing extends beyond symptom management into restoration, empowerment, and a deeper reconnection with oneself.
